PARVAAZ coaching scheme of Jammu and Kashmir is a scheme under the Mission Youth J&K initiative that provides free coaching for competitive exams like IAS and JKAS to the eligible and interested candidates who are permanent residents of J&K. The scheme aims to facilitate youth empowerment and socio-economic growth in J&K. The scheme has a total of 1500 seats and the selection is based on the merit list of the PARVAAZ Qualifying Test (PQT). The coaching schedule and program depend on the syllabus, difficulty level and scheme of the exam

Mission Youth will fund only coaching fee to the PQT qualified students. Boarding and lodging expenses will have to manage on their own. Special Privilege under the scheme
30% seats reserved for female candidates under this scheme. An additional weightage of 10% in PARVAAZ Qualifying Test (PQT) who have qualified prelims of a particular examination for which scholarship is benign sought.
Syllabus for PARVAAZ Qualifying Test 2023
The exam will be a qualifying Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) test with an emphasis on evaluating the candidate’s general knowledge and aptitude. PQT should ideally be administered in each of Jammu and Kashmir’s 20 districts or at venues selected by Mission Youth.
The test will assess candidates’ general knowledge, quantitative and qualitative aptitude, and reasoning abilities. General awareness questions will be asked about subjects like history, geography, politics, economics, social sciences, science and technology, sports, environment and ecology, international affairs, and current events, among others. The purpose of these questions is to gauge the applicants’ level of general awareness. Similar to the PQT from the prior year, the examination will follow that format.
Exam date for PARVAAZ Qualifying Test 2023
The qualifying test for PARVAAZ was conducted on 30th July 2023, and large number of the students have appeared in this exam.

What is PARVAAZ Qualifying Test (PQT)?
It is a pre-qualifying test for availing free coaching for Competitive Exams (IAS/JKAS) under PARVAAZ Scheme of Mission Youth J&K
Who can apply for PQT?
Eligible and interested candidates who are permanent residents of J&K, have completed graduation or are in the final year of graduation, and are between 21 to 32 years of age
How to apply for PQT?
Candidates can apply online through the Mission Youth portal (https://missionyouthjk.in/) by registering with their mobile number and filling the application form
When is the PQT conducted?
